Yesterday I heard from two students about the difference that being a part of this course had made in their HEALTH. It is not unusual for me to get feedback from students that they love what they are learning and who they are becoming.....but to find out that an assignment or a quiz resulted in important information about their own health issues...well that is just Icing On the Cake!

Art of Invisibility - The goal of the Trust Birth Midwife

I told my clients that the greatest compliment that they could pay me was to forget I was at their birth. I know that Dr. John felt the same way about his clients. His belief that birth belonged to the families he was serving and not to him or any other "authority" made him so much more of a trust birth midwife than many female midwives I know.
